THE PROCESS
Competition Dojo is intended to give those of us that didn’t quite reach our dreams of becoming professional athletes a chance to compete. It is intended for people that enjoy competition in all forms. No sore winners, no sore losers… just those that love to see where they stand against others and maybe against themselves.
Each month we will provide at least one event. It may be something you are good at, it may be something you have never been able to do or maybe even something you have never heard of at all. No matter where you are at, you have a month to practice/learn/perform but by the end of the month you must upload your results and the required evidence.
Our team at Competition Dojo will tabulate the results and present them to you with thorough analysis. How did you compare against everyone? How did you compare in an age group? Gender? Location? We are going to slice and dice the data in as many ways as we can to let you see where you stand, however you want to see it.

SAMPLE EVENTS

5K RUN/WALK
Time a 5K Run/Walk and see where you stand. If you can't make a 5K, you have 30 days to submit your results. We know you can do it! Get out there.

If a 5K is beneath you, don't get too cocky next months event might be something you've never seen.

BOWLING
Ten frames... No bumpers... How well will you roll?

BURPEES
Two Definitions
1. a conditioning exercise in which a person squats, places the palms of the hands on the floor in front of the feet, jumps back into a push-up position, in some cases completes one push-up, returns to the squat position, and then jumps up into the air while extending the arms overhead
2. Ouch
Either way, how many can you do in 1 minute?

ELBOW COIN CATCH
Such a simple event, but so much opportunity to improve. Stack a set of quarters on your elbow and with the snap of your arm, catch every quarter in that same hand as they fall. Catch them all or it doesn't count. How many can you do?

CORNHOLE TOSS
Take 16 tosses, 4 at a time and record your score. 3 points for in the hole and 1 point for on the board. If it hits the ground at any point you get zero for that bag. Add your score up for the 16 bags and see where you stand.

DISC GOLF
If you have no idea what Disc Golf is, google it or better yet, download the UDisc app on your phone and search for a Disc Golf course near you and just get out there.

By the end of the month you will need to record your score on an 18 hole course. The course must be published on the UDisc app so we can compare difficulties.
