January Events

The New Year is kicking off and that means two important things. First Cobra Kai season 3 has been released and second the January events for Competition Dojo are up and rolling.

Don't worry, spoilers for the Cobra Kai season will not be included here so let's focus on the events...

For the month, we have two events. The core event is an interesting one that may raise a few eyebrows. Coin Snatching isn't exactly a core fitness activity, but that is part of the heart of Competition Dojo. We are about creating competition for everyone. Grabbing coins off your elbow may not be something that requires amazing strength or stamina. It may not even be something you have ever tried, but it is something nearly everyone can learn. In addition, coin snatching is a great event to practice while watching your other favorite Dojo's.

The second event is Pool Shots. Odds are the vast majority of our members have probably played pool before. Turning the standard game into a Competition Dojo event just requires that we move the competitors to a virtual space. To compete in the event you will simply play through a full rack of 15 balls and count the number of shots it takes to clear the table. This event is set up as an Extra event which means it will not count against the Core competition for yearly ranking, but don't worry it will still be ranked and each competitor will still have the ability to see where they rank against others.

Results will be due by midnight on January 31, 2021 (Wow how great is it to write 2021!!).

Remember, there is no cost to sign-up and no commitment. Sign-up yourself and compete or if you want, bring your friends, form a team and compete with them and still against everyone. Either way make the move and find out where you rank!
